Valley de Collores

The works illustrate the poem "Valle de Collores" (Valley of Collores) from Luis Llorens Torres. The poem narrates the story of someone leaving his family living in the neighborhood of Collores in the town of Juana Diaz,  and his trip to find fame and fortune. He later regrets it and wished he never left.

The art works were made in the xilography technique with a n edition of 40, and a special  hand painted edition of 10. Measure 8 1/2 X 13 1/4 inches, year 1987.
