Homage to Rafael |
The portfolio Homage to Rafael is divided in three volumes with nine prints each. It was made as homage to Rafael Hernández -one of the most important music composers of Puerto Rico- in the centennial of his birth in 1991. Each print illustrates a song and its performer. The portfolio is made in xilography hand painted and a series of 27 (from which 25 are shown here) and with the image measuring 11 x 14 inches.
