The Portfolio "Song of el Baquine" shows the african-puerto rican ceremony that takes place upon the death of an infant. This verses were preserved by Federico de Onis. Alicea remembers when he was a child to be present in a Baquine that took place in his home and to have listened to these very same verses. The works are made in plexiglass with text in silk screen.
